Job Description

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Information, Information Technology, Marketing, Business Management or related field
  • Ability to quickly comprehend, analyze and respond to changing marketing strategies within tight time constraints
  • Ability to communicate abstract technical concepts and solutions to a non-technical audience
  • Familiarity with multiple database and data analysis tools is preferred

    Altria Group Distribution Company’s role is to provide sales, distribution and consumer engagement services for Altria’s tobacco operating companies. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Associate Manager, Promotions Planning to join our Retail Promotions and Communications department in Richmond, VA.

    The successful candidate will lead and support the implementation and delivery of infrastructure to plan, allocate, order and evaluate Altria Operating Companies' strategic promotion plans. The program plan audiences include a large sales organization and wholesale and retail trade partners.

    Specific accountabilities include:

  • Implementing system solutions to meet continuously changing business needs
  • Providing reporting infrastructure across multiple platforms
  • Identifying and engaging many cross-functional audiences, in a progressive collaborative manner, on opportunities to optimize retail promotion execution efficiency
  • Developing broad organization capability through ongoing process engagement, documentation provision and training.
